The presentation, presented in part here, is not a recent one, but it is
probably more poignant and contemporary today than it was on the day in
2005 when he delivered it. McDonough addresses our current economic,
ecologic, and social situation in one of the most brilliant and
succinct fashions that I have ever experienced. Architecture, design,
ecology, energy, pollution, brilliance, idiocy, nature, our future, our
shared vision--he covers it all.
The dynamic and funny presentation moves pretty fast, but if you listen carefully you will find
reason for both outrage and profound hope. You may also find more than
