Upcoming Small Business Strategy Webinars from Green Business Owner
Professional, interactive webinars from GreenBusinessOwner.com cover the implementation of sustainability as a strategy for small businesses, and are designed to make learning new concepts and practices easy, interactive and fun.
GreenBusinessOwner.com webinars are by invite only! In order to join these free, live webinars, you MUST become a member of GreenBusinessOwner.com. There is nothing to lose, and we will never sell your info or spam your inbox. JOIN TODAY!
Our interactive webinars take one of three forms:
- Presentations by GBO staff on implementing one of our e-Tools for sustainability strategy. (The months that these webinars are scheduled, Premium and Mastermind Members may also download the e-Tool itself for free.)
- Presentations on a topic of importance to small businesses, like search engine optimization, social media, operations, and resource efficiency strategies, and feature experts in the sustainable business community.
- Group consulting classes, where members can post questions on challenges they are facing to the GBO Facebook Page (become a fan today by clicking on the "Like" button on our page, so that you can begin asking questions!), and we will address as many of our members' questions as we can during an hour-long presentation. This is something like hiring a sustainability consulting service, except that there is no cost to you, and you also benefit from learning about solutions to the challenges other entrepreneurs face!
(Interested in sponsoring a webinar? Check out our advertise page! Feel free to suggest a new topic you'd like to see covered!)
Upcoming Schedule
September 22, 10 AM PT -
Understanding the green consumer: a myth-busting session with Gwynne Rogers, LOHAS Business Director at the Natural Marketing Institute. Rogers will dispel 10 commonly held misperceptions on the LOHAS market, ultimately allowing you to better understand a target demographic with tremendous purchasing power: their product usage patterns, purchasing behavior, and consumer attitudes. The Natural Marketing Institute relies on 20 years experience understanding the health, wellness, and sustainable marketplace to provide marketing expertise to companies looking to cater to the LOHAS demographic.
October 14, 10 AM PT -
Raising Funds for Small, Green Businesses (with complimentary e-Tool for Premium and Mastermind Members), with Jenny Kassen of Cutting Edge Capital.
October 26, 10 AM PT -
Melinda Cheel, Executive Director of the Green Chamber of Commerce will present an analysis of the current U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which has historically been an anti-environmental lobbying organization representing big business and polluting industries (one of its Board members is Don Blankenship, CEO of Massey Energy, whose West Virginia coal mine was cited for hundreds of safety violations it chose to pay but not rectify before an explosion occurred in April 2010, killing 29 workers). The need is clear to have a political voice for businesses in the new economy, and Ms. Cheel will outline her organization's plan to represent business support for progressive legislation and policy.
